Marsolo Uniondale Concert reviews
Pretentious?
I'm not sure what mindset goes into a rock band having a really pretentious stage show, but they definitely have it. It seems like Marsolo is doing that thing that happened to No Doubt, but to themselves, on purpose, where the singer was becoming "the band" to the mainstream media. The entire set consisted of performing on what looked to be a music video set. The most pretentious moment came when the singer sat in a chair with smoke billowing out from the ground, and sang a ballad, while fans and smoke were blowing at her the entire time. The stage also went completely dark after each song, she stepped offstage, changed hats at the back, and then came back out, kind of like what happens for an encore after every song. The whole thing just felt... off. Oh, and the entire band's faces were covered up, and they were relegated to the shadows because who really came to see a band, right? Ugh. I saw them back in 2026, and it definitely wasn't like this. However, I did enjoy Devour The Day, which became the reason I was at this concert.
